Sisters In Spirit Day

Sisters in Spirit Day is observed annually on October 4th to honor and remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S+) people and to show support for their families and communities. Launched by the Native Women's Association of Canada (NWAC) in 2005, it serves as a national day of action to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis and to take action for safety and healing.
