That’s where *Gowns for Grads* and *Suits for Youth* step in, bringing dignity and confidence to young graduates, one outfit at a time.

**Suits for Youth** ensures that students can step into graduation season with style and confidence. Offering suits, dress shirts, shoes, and ties, the program helps eliminate the financial barriers that can make formal events feel out of reach. Similarly, **Gowns for Grads** is a heartwarming community initiative that provides free prom and graduation dresses to high school students who might not otherwise be able to afford them. With the help of generous donors and dedicated volunteers, students can browse a wide selection of gowns in a welcoming, boutique-like setting—no questions asked, and no cost involved. The program not only helps youth look their best but also fosters a sense of belonging and pride during one of life’s big milestones.

Note: Durham Region Transit will be providing a free shuttle bus from the Oshawa Centre to Gowns for Grads at G.L. Roberts from 10am - 2pm on the day of the event. The bus will pick up at the parking lot just south of the bus loop.

Both programs are made possible by the incredible support of the Durham Region community—through clothing donations, sponsorships, and volunteer hours. They reflect a broader message: that every student deserves to feel celebrated, regardless of financial circumstances.
